Shipping


What carrier do you use?
We use either UPS or USPS to ship your pots.  If one works better for you than the other, you’re welcome to let us know at shipping@eastforkpottery.com.  
 
What is the estimated shipping time?
Ceramic objects made by East Fork are kept in stock in their “bisqued” state and are glazed to order.  Please allow 3 to 5 business days for your order to be glazed, fired, packed and shipped.  
 
Larger orders of dinnerware sets are sometimes made to order and can have a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks (though they typically ship much more quickly than that).  If you’d like to have a best estimate of current lead times for dinnersets, send an e-mail to info@eastforkpottery.com
 
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! Please note that for our insurance purposes, we are unable to claim that your package is worth less than it is.  
 
How do you pack my order?
We wrap all of your orders in Geami WrapPak, die cut kraft paper with a tissue interleaf paper that’s great at keeping your items safe and is so much friendlier to the environment than packing peanuts and bubble wrap.  The paper is 100% recyclable, compostable, biodegradable and combines 100% recycled content or is Sustainable Forestry (SFI) certified. Who knew you could love a pack-and-ship material so deeply? 
 

What if something in my order broke during shipping?

We pack our pots the best we can, but sometimes breakage happens. Please let us know upon receiving your package that your item has arrived broken. Snap a photo of the broken items as you found them in the box and send it to info@eastforkpottery.com (this way we can file an insurance claim if it looks like it was due to excessively rough handling). We’ll send you a replacement ASAP… and don’t worry about sending any of the broken pieces our way.
